The Worst Vice-Presidential Nominee in U.S.... →
Aside from the fact that The Huffington Post is so left it’s pretty much a PR blog for Obama, this sums up my feelings on the choice pretty well.

Touché McCain
K.wat said it best: “Touché McCain.” Today McCain announced his choice for VP, and boy nobody saw it coming. McCain chose first-term Alaskan governor Sarah Palin, a very attractive (if I say so myself) 44 year old woman with middle-class values and five children—including a four month old with Downs Syndrome. For people that care about politics enough look past the flak,...

On the Baltimore Trip
This past weekend I went up to see Beau, who I haven’t seen since my wedding, to hang out for a few days. It was probably the best time I’ve had in a while and it was really good to see him. We went to an O’s game (which to my surprise they won), drank plenty of adult-themed beverages, and went to the Virgin Mobile Festival. The concert absolutely rocked, and I finally got...

On the Madden Curse
It’s a strange fact that whoever appears on the cover of the Madden NFL video game is doomed to injury or subsequent obscurity. This has happened 8 years in a row. Makes you wonder about this year’s cover, which features Brett Favre in a Packer’s jersey. For those who don’t follow football, Favre recently came back out of retirement to join the Packers only to be traded...

Adventures in Wedding Photography
This past weekend was a memorable one for me, as I assistant-shot my first wedding under Amanda Olson. Amanda is a fantastic Raleigh-based photographer who was kind enough to bring me along to her wedding shoot at Duke Chapel, and I had an absolute blast. Shooting a wedding is an adrenaline rush, if there is such a thing in photography. The pressure is on, the window for hitting shots is...

On iPhone Data Plans
You know, a lot of people complain of the added cost of the iPhone data plans ($20/mo for the 2G, $30/mo for the 3G). Fact of the matter is those prices are a steal, compared to how much you use the data plans and how much they usually cost per KB. Take for example my past cell bill which was $275. Yes $275. That’s a lot. I called AT&T to see why it was so much, and as it turns out...
